How to avoid booze when no-one knows you're pregnant

Not pregnant yet, but just wondering... I'd rather not drink in the first trimester. How do I subtly turn down booze for 12 weeks? How did you do that without everyone IMMEDIATELY guessing you were pregnant? Does that make me sound like an alcoholic? I'm really not, but its the first thing I assume if a friend doesn't drink on more than one occasion when everyone else is.

What did you do/are you planning to do?

Remember if you are too good at the deception everyone who encouraged you will then spend the next six months muttering how you drank like a fish in the first three months

I have to say that if a friend of mine said she wasn't drinking because she was on anti-biotics, the first thing I would think would be that she was pregnant. I think it's the classic line..
I used the detox line and it worked with most people, but I'm rubbish at lying so close friends just had to look in my eyes and they knew!
Getting a drink and pretending to drink it is the most convincing I think.
