I want a bra that is padded/moulded but not underwired. Have tried M&S but they rub under my arm, La senza dont seem to make any that arent underwired and dont like any on debenhams. Cant afford to spend more than £15 per bra. Just want one black one white. Dont want maternity bras as they make me feel frumpy as they cover my whole boob area which i hate!

Pleease help!

If you have big boobies you should try Bravissimo

www.bravissimo.com/

I'm not sure what you mean by moulded but not underwired

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2008 18:37

Why don't you want underwired?

That's no reason though lapin - both are fine to do in underwired.

I second bravissimo, they have always been very helpful. The last place I bought a couple of new bras was Jollys in Bath (part of the House of Frazer group) they had a good selection and the lady was a bit frosty but otherwise fairly helpful

The advice has changed now, as long as they fit properly they should not interfere with milk ducts - oh the relief when I was told that when pg with DS

mad4mybaby · 08/06/2008 18:47

theres a lot of advice out there about the underwire situation. There is no medical reason why you cant wear it, just that yes it could cause blocked milk ducts and that if you DO wear underwire make sure your properly fitted.

Littlelapin, thanks they look just right!

it's very hard to make sure underwire is fitting properly though, especially when bf when your breasts are changing size several times a day

did you try the M+S moulded maternity bra? i really like that one

McDreamy · 08/06/2008 18:50

That is a bit out of date - DS is 3 next month!!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/06/2008 18:51

Knickers - it's only a problem if you wear bras that are too tight, but that really applies whether it's wired or not!

I wore wires throughout my entire last pregnancy, and still do when I think I can get away without feeding dd for a few hours! (Am 5 months pregnant and still breastfeeding dd).
