I’m current on cyclogest 400mg twice a day and aspirin due to my history of recurrent loses, I did have cyclogest during my last pregnancy in February this year but only ended up on it for 4 days as it turned out to be a mmc, so I wanted to ask for anyone who had experience using the pessaries, did you experience any soreness using them vaginally? And if you found yourself getting some abdominal cramps? It’s been a week so far on them, and I’m finding I’m suffering from the above along with extreme tiredness, I’m sleeping probably about 13 hours a day 😭 it’s hard to know what’s pregnancy symptoms and what’s the progesterone, the cramping isn’t constant usually around an hour after inserting one, and it’s more an ache than cramp, but the soreness down below is really starting to get to me, but I don’t want to go complain to my gp if it’s common 😭

Yes I used these in my previous pregnancy and will start to use them again later in this pregnancy.
Yes I did get soreness and irritation so my consultant said to use them rectally which was soo much better - I didn't get the soreness and I didn't get the melted mess after either.
I would defo ask your consultant about using them that way it's just as effective and absorbed the same way.
I would say yes it might increase hormones slightly as it is added amount of hormone your adding so yes I think it probably will increase symptoms more.
