Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone might be able to share their experiences or offer a bit of reassurance, because my anxiety is through the roof after a really tough year.
A bit of background:
I’ve had three early miscarriages this year, all around the 4–5 week mark. I’ve also been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic but I’m still waiting for my first appointment.
This cycle:
• LMP: 16th October
• Regular cycles (usually 27 days)
• I normally ovulate around CD16/17
• I think I implanted late this time (around 9th–10th November)
Timeline:
• 13th Nov – period 2 days late, NHS blood test came back HCG 2.3 (classed as negative, but I believe looking back I only just implanted)
• 14th–18th Nov – faint positives on several different brands, gradually getting darker
• Today I’m 4 weeks 5 days (CD34)
• Repeat HCG blood test today, results due tomorrow
My concern is that because of my previous losses, I’m terrified this could happen again. My tests are faint but seem to be there each day and gradually getting darker and I definitely feel “pregnant”, but after my history I’ve lost all confidence.
I also know I must have implanted late, because I don’t think my HCG had much time to rise before my first blood draw. I’m trying so hard not to compare myself to the online charts where people have much higher numbers at this stage.
My questions:
• Has anyone had very low early hCG like mine that still turned out well?
• Any experiences with late implantation and healthy pregnancies?
• What were your hCG levels around 4–5 weeks with natural conception?
• Did anyone have faint lines for several days but things still progressed normally?
• When did your symptoms start or increase?
I feel like I’m going out of my mind with worry these next 24 hours waiting for my blood results, especially after multiple losses.
Any advice, similar timelines, or success stories would honestly mean the world right now 💛
Thank you so much for reading.
