Hi all

last year I had a missed miscarriage I lost baby at 8 weeks but didn’t find out until 12 weeks. For the past 2 weeks I’ve had absolutely sore nipples and yesterday I was 3 days late for my monthly so I decided to test, I Got a strong positive that showed up instantly and took another and was another strong positive. I don’t know how far along I would be as September and October monthly’s weren’t normal periods for me and I had a lot more brown than red. But today I’ve a pain in my right pelvic area and like a shooting pain on the bone of my vagina. It comes and goes and I have no blood etc. I can’t relax as I’m scared something will go wrong after last year. But my question is has anyone had any pelvic and lower back pain etc on one side and everything turned out to be okay ? Thanks for anyone’s help 😊

Hey, sorry to hear about your MMC. That must have been very hard.

im currently 8 weeks with an in uterine pregnancy, and have had several moments of pain on my right side, sometimes really rather sore for a whole day. A scan shows both a bleeding ovary and a para ovarian cyst, both of which the EPU said were not concerning but were the likely reason for right sided pain. And that the ovary could be causing some of my spotting (as well as a SCH). So nothing worrying to point out there.

i will say though, that I’ve also had an ectopic pregnancy previous to this once, which also had right sided pain. I’ve had more pain from my healthy (so far) pregnancy than my ectopic. I’m not saying it to alarm you, but as you’ve had brown bleeding, why not give your EPU a call and explain what you have in your post. That way they can decide if they’d like to scan you or do a blood test to ensure everything is going well.

Thank you. The brown bleeding were the last 2 months this month I’m 4 days late and no bleeding now. The pain isn’t severe it’s like comes and goes cramping and there’s no blood with it. I’m going to make an appointment with the midwife tomorrow and see if I can get in for an early scan maybe. Sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy 😔. Thank you for replying x
