i really should know this by now seeing its baby #3 lol.
but whens the best time to get measured? current bras still fit, but no way i can use them for feeding as they are very supportive and cant easily pop a breast out IYKWIM.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

John Lewis advised me to wait until 2 weeks before due date.

Eh, if you buy any before the baby's born, don't buy a lot, or stick to relatively unfitted bras. I changed size quite significantly after the birth this time, and had to go shopping for properly fitted supportie bras.

another thing, where can i get some with large back fittings? i am a 44C atm, and its virtually impossible to buy a nromal bra without ordering them in.

misdee,
go to www.amplebosom.com
not entirely sure if they do nursing bras but they do larger back sizes and cup sizes
the lady that runs it is lovely too!

just checked misdee and they do do nursing bras!!

bonym · 22/01/2005 23:06

misdee - try these bra expanders if you still have problems - I've just bought some as all my maternity bras are getting too tight now and I didn't want to buy a load more at this late stage!

Flossam · 22/01/2005 23:09

Yes misdee, I got caught out leaving it two weeks before! Waters broke at 6 am, check up in hospital at lunchtime as no contractions, emergency bra shopping with wet trousers (waters!) that afternoon (not to mention the tens machine, sleep suits maternity towels !!} Good luck!

mckenzie · 23/01/2005 09:47

you've got me worried now. Maybe I'll go 3 weeks before due date!
