Expat my dd2 was high up like you describe. She was kind of wedged up tight (and was breech for ages until I had an ecv at 37 weeks). Once they turned her I almost felt comfortable (well as much as you can be comfortable at that stage)

I really sympathise, she gave me lots of headbutts under my boobs. It felt really odd, like my bra was digging in, but under the skin iykwim.

i think this one is still transverse, onepiece.

because i'm getting strong kicks way up high, but then i feel squirming, too.

it had gone head down at the last checkup after hiding behind my overfull bladder.

onepieceoflollipop · 07/06/2008 22:12

I can hardly believe that I had a little lollipop squirming around like that less than a year ago!

She hid herself away during 3 scans.

Hope your little one is less modest if you want him/her to give you a little clue.

Oh, dd2 was such a radge, the midwife could not track her heartbeat at the 24 week checkup and i had to race up to hospital for a scan.

sweetkitty · 08/06/2008 21:31

Oh expat SO excited for you

If old wives tales are true I should be on my third boy not my third girl. I am carrying really high as well.

expatinscotland · 08/06/2008 21:38

Oh, I'm going in knowing it's just confirming what I already know: that it's girl no.3.

My gut is just the biggest wreck that it was with the other two girls.

sweetkitty · 08/06/2008 21:39

yes but don't you know all the BEST people have 3 girls

expatinscotland · 08/06/2008 21:40

i was in the loft today looking at all the girls' baby clothes and feeling all nostalgic about my wee girls.

can't wait to tell dd1 she's having another sister .

sweetkitty · 08/06/2008 21:41

My DD1 told everyone it was a girl before we knew, she was adamant it was not a boy. She was with us when we had the scan and said "see told you it was a girl" she is 3 btw. She also said if it was a boy she didn't want it and it was going in the bin

expatinscotland · 08/06/2008 21:42

LOL. DD1 think it's a boy.

But she's wrong.

hello ladies thought i would add this onto the thread .

my cousin is a firm believer of the ring test were you a wedding ring on a piece of string then with your palm side of your hand facing upwards drop the ring 3 times to the right of your hand then dangle over your palm.

if it goes forward and back its a boy

if it does a circle its a girl

if it does nothing then thats all the kids yur having .

between each go make sure the ring is still .

i totally thiought it was a load of rubbish but she is 100% certain it works i was the 17th person she done it on everyone else was right!!

so when she done it on me it came up a boy which i already have then it came up a girl and then it did nothing so she said i have a boy will have a girl and thats it just 2 kids .

well i went for my 22 week scan with a very open mind as i thought there was no way i would be lucky to have a boy and girl .

the mw turned to me do you want to know the sex i said yes and she said congrats your having a girl!!!!!!!

well i nearly fell off the table

not sure if it works for everyone or maybe my cousin is phyic but it really does amaze me .

i just thought i would share it with you all
