Baby tummy measuring 4 weeks ahead

I’m 37 weeks pregnant.

The baby is measuring on the 70th centile, so a bit big but nothing major.

I was looking through my scan notes and the last 3 scans have all shown that the babies tummy circumference is measuring 4 weeks ahead. Everything else is only measuring maybe a few days or a week ahead.

No one has raised any concerns, but doesn’t 4 weeks ahead seem quite a lot??

I suppose if it was a concern one of the healthcare professionals would have mentioned it to you.

I wouldnt worry

Hi - as the above poster said if they were worried they would have said something. The only thing I will say is when I was pregnant my son’s stomach also measured ahead and they tested me for gestational diabetes which I had. This was at 33 weeks though.

Have they checked you for GD or extra fluid around baby? To be honest I was 3 weeks ahead and it meant nothing, baby was born 9lbs
