Is this my mucus plug? - TW/TMI - pic attached

Sorry for TMI & Trigger warning picture attached. - i genuinely dont have a clue what im supposed to be looking for, my SIL says she never saw her mucus plug so wouldnt be able to advise me in anyway.

So im hoping someone can let me know what im experiencing.

For the record i am currently 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I had a sweep yesterday and was told i am 2cm dilated.
Cane home and had some spotting snd what i thought may have been mucus plug loss but it seemed too thick (whether it was mixed with a lot of blood which made it thicker i dont really know but midwife said this will be normal)

Ive had minimal cramps, more backache and soreness downstairs.

Im now leaking this stuff... which ive not seen before and im not too sure what im meant to be looking for🤣

Yes I would say thats your mucous plug. It doesn't always come out all at once. If I remember correctly I had discharge like this for a few days before I went into labour.

That makes me feel so much better! I didnt want to think i was going crazy as i had some yellowish clear discharge that has been like mucusy sort of texture, but i kept putting it off thinking it was just normal vaginal discharge because there was no pink tinge or blood!

Yep, that's your mucus plug. It looks like yours has been disturbed by the sweep (which is good) and will come out in little bits like this. Hopefully new baba will be here within a few days. Good luck!
