Symptoms disappearing - very worried

My wife and I are currently 8 weeks pregnant after IVF. Last week we had our first scan and saw a healthy heartbeat — everything looked good and we were over the moon.

But over the past few days, her symptoms have really dropped off. She was feeling tired, a bit nauseous, and her breasts were sore before — but now there’s almost nothing. No bleeding or cramping, but the lack of symptoms is really worrying her (and honestly, me too).

We’ve had losses before, so it’s hard not to assume the worst - but we have never had a heartbeat before. I keep trying to reassure her that symptoms can come and go, especially around this time, but she feels like something must be wrong.

Has anyone else been through something similar — a healthy scan, then symptoms easing up around week 8? How did things turn out for you?

This happened to me - up to 8 weeks I felt horribly sick and had sore boobs etc and then it went away. Went for a reassurance scan and all was fine and am now 15w. Maybe get a scan if that will help?

Unfortunately symptoms can come and go. I think I've read before that weeks 6-8 are peak for sickness.

For example I'm 9 weeks almost and this morning I said to my husband "Jeez besides being a bit more tired than normal, my sickness and diarrhea has really calmed down the last 3/4 days"..... IRONICALLY within 2 hours I had locked myself into the bathroom again for hours 🙄

If you are worried, would your clinic do another scan for you?
