Bloody show? Picture attached (TW)

Currently 40+1 weeks pregnant.

Woke up on Saturday to fresh blood dripping out so attended triage to have baby monitored and everything checked over.

Baby was fine, no idea where the fresh blood had come from and was told what they could see when I got there was my bloody show.

Came home, the bleeding had stopped and there hasn't been much since. Only this morning ive woken up to more of this (see pic) and wondering if anyone has experienced their bloody show coming away over days? Does it tend to look so bloody?

4th child and never experienced this before and dont want to keep presenting at the hospital if they are going to send me away.

Thanks in advance

No, this doesn’t look like a bloody show to me. I would not be happy with watch and wait.

@NearlyDec been thinking this myself after having 3 other babies my bloody show was more pinkish red, never had one so dark.

I’m a midwife and would recommend going back to triage and showing them that photo. That looks too bloody for a normal show.

@littlemissalwaystired thank you, I will organise getting to triage. I thought myself it was too bloody and also im rhesus negative so any sign of bleeding has me in panic mode so just wanted to check if anyone had experienced it before incase I was just worrying about nothing.
