Placenta Previa

Hi ladies I was just wondering for those of you that had complete placenta previa were you given an option to stay at the hospital from 34 weeks? I believe this is the NHS guideline but not sure if it is something that is followed at all NHS trusts.

Also if you were admitted how far were you from the hospital?

I am so anxious about what will happen in these last few weeks. I am 30 weeks and hoping (as much as I hate hospitals) that I am given the option for a hospital admission as I am scared of bleeding to death.

All answers are greatly appreciated xx 🙂

I wasnt. But I had a planned c section at 37 weeks and everything was perfect. Speak to professionals about your fears and I’m sure they will support you.
