I am ten weeks and have been struggling through the past four, and would like to know if I can expect things to get better any time soon. I know it's different for everyone, but I wondered if you have been pregnant more than once did you feel better at roughly the same time in each pregnancy or did it vary a lot?

This is my second, in my first I felt better by 12 weeks. I am getting through the hell of this one (which is probably actually the same severity, just more of a struggle looking after a child as well as feeling ill) by hoping it will be roughly the same so I only have a couple of weeks left.

I didn't have a lot of nausea for either of my first trimesters but the fatigue was extreme. I only started to regain any energy after 15 weeks both times.

Mine were like clockwork at 12 weeks each time, sickness and fatigue stopped and didn’t feel ill anymore. Hang in there!

I was not getting sick but had a lot of nauseous feelings from around 7-14 weeks. I only threw up once (in the middle of a written exam!) but felt rough for a couple of months. By mid-June I started to feel more human again and had a decent summer, kept very active, started pg yoga at 17 weeks and kept that up to 38 weeks and did some swimming also and a lot of walking, and gave birth in late December.

It was hell from 5-12 then pretty much the nausea just stopped at 12 weeks. 18 weeks now and about once a week I randomly throw up but without the nausea. Tiredness definitely also eased around 12 weeks and has much more slowly improved, but still get sleepy in the afternoons/evening. Nothing like as bad though and not having 2 hours naps in the middle of the day any more!

Around 15 weeks but I was taking prescribed meds for the sickness. Heartburn and acid reflux then kicked in. I think I’d take the nausea over that!

I had nausea constantly - literally all day every day - until around 16 weeks. Everyone is different, hopefully yours clears up soon. I do feel for you, it really is horrible. Can’t imagine it with a toddler in tow too!

I felt better once DC3 was born! Before that I was sick up to 15 times a day from week 6 to week 39 when I had DC.

Each pregnancy was worse than the last so DC3 is my last one - I couldn't do it again.

I hope you're not like me!

Thanks everyone! I have felt much worse the past few days, I am hoping this is it getting worse before it improves
