Faint pregnancy test - need reassurance

So did a pregnancy test 3 days ago there was the faintest line, wasnt even convinced if there was a line or not, so did a test the next day, and there was definitely a line but still fairly faint. Did another one today and the line is still there but still fairly faint. I would be 4 weeks tomorrow (worked out from first day of last period), is it normal for the line to still be so faint at 4 weeks?

Sorry wanted this for so long, just panicking and need reassurance 😊

I don't think that is faint. Its a clear positive.

Looks good to me OP. Get a digital and see if it matches with your dates if it’ll settle your nerves.

Sillysoggyspaniel · 05/11/2025 12:05

Yeah definitely not faint

Slowdownyouredoingfine · 05/11/2025 12:05

Oh & congratulations!

Definitely looks positive, do you have any pink dye tests available x

Thankyou everyone, sorry I get married in 2 days too, so my mind is all over the place. I've never done pregnancy tests, and only ever see pictures of big bold lines, so not sure what to expect and Ive wanted this for so long x

Theyre a little bit more reliable and clearblue have sometimes given some false positives, but this doesn’t look like one, definitely looks positive. Congratulations!! X

Aw double congratulations! Wedding and a positive test! Best of luck with it all :)

Orangeroses243 · 05/11/2025 15:10

@Ellsabub looks like a good positive to me! 🙌 congratulations ❤️
Have a great wedding day 💖 👰‍♀

The intensity of the line doesn’t matter. If there’s a line it’s detected HCG and you’re pregnant. Congrats!

Purplefoo · 05/11/2025 16:16

You don’t need to do another type of test

Most home pregnancy tests are reliable, for example Clearblue®'s tests have an accuracy of over 99% from the day you expect your period, and while it's possible a test showing a negative result is wrong, particularly if you're testing early, getting a false positive is extremely rare.
