Cannot keep paracetamol down

Third pregnancy, not had this issue before even though I've had long morning sickness with them all.

Any time I've tried to take paracetamol it comes back up, with whatever food I might've eaten. I've tried Calpol this morning and I've had two bouts of vomiting, absolutely everything gone.

Has anyone experienced this? Were you able to take anything else?

Have you tried dispersible paracetamol? Are you on any antiemetics?

Maybe try capsules with liquid paracetamol?

Also, could it be what you’re drinking with it? Took me a long time in my first pregnancy to realise any non-sparkling drink would make me throw up, including water.

You can get paracetamol suppositories which I know is nobody's preference but if you are having an issue keeping them down orally it may be a good option for you. I'm not sure if you can get them from a pharmacy or if you need them to be prescribed by a GP though.

When you tried the calpol did you take it all in one go?

Had similar years ago when pregnant with dd1
I had to measure out a dose and take it a ml or two at a time i would rub it on my gums and counted the time I took it as the time I finished it
It took ages but it gave me some relief

Hope you feel better soon
