Positive frer negative clearblue ultra early digital

Hi all,

has anyone else had it where a frer shows a faint but clearly visible pink line and a negative clear blue ultra early digital before??

im 12dpo, period due tomorrow.

i took 3 frer and all positive different times through today

i already got my hopes up

Yes hun this is because you need a higher hcg concentration for the digital and as you’re still early you haven’t quite hit the threshold. I can definitely see the lines though so I’d say you’re very early stages of pregnancy. I had 3 chemical pregnancies before my current 4 month old though and drove myself mad comparing tests. Try again in 48 hours and if the line is stronger you have a better chance it will “stick”. Good luck x

Thankyou so much! I was so excited this morning until I did the digital 😭 with my son my hcg did rise very slowly & with my period due tomorrow I wasn’t sure.

i did just read that first response is 6.3 where as clearblue is 10 so fingers crossed!!

I can see very slight lines when I zoom in on the FRERs but I’m not sure I would get my hopes up on those yet. They seem very faint for 12dpo and I’ve seen others have indent type lines on FRERs before. Give it 48 hours. By then you’ll either have started your period on time or your HCG will have risen enough to show on a 10miu test.

Can definitely see the lines on the FRER but they are more sensitive than digitals. You'll need to wait 48 hours for your HCG to have doubled and be able to be picked up by the digital or at least see progression on the FRER.

Wondering if it’s a possible chemical? Today’s doesn’t seem darker than yesterdays, last night was darkest.

I wouldn't keep testing OP, it won't help.
