Bleeding and clots at 8 weeks

Hello,

I'm just looking for any similar scenarios and outcomes. I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I've had consistent brown bleeding pretty much since I found out. Ive had a reassuring scan with heartbeat but today I had a sudden gush of bright red bleeding and passed two biggish clots - 1st about the size of a plum, couldn't see the 2nd. It all lasted for about 30 mins and I'm just having light spotting since and some on-going cramping. I assumed I was about to miscarry but now slightly hopeful because the bleeding has stopped. Anyone had a similar experience and mind sharing the outcome?

Yes me last weekend at 8 weeks. 30 minutes of bright red blood pouring out of me, passed a clot and was certain it was a miscarriage. Went to A&E, they couldn’t do anything but book a scan for a few days time. Went home still certain it was a miscarriage. Bleeding then stopped and still had pregnancy symptoms so was very conflicted and confused. The scan confirmed baby was ok and had a strong heartbeat. I have an unusual shaped uterus apparently and so the bleeding came from the opposite side to where baby is.
Best get it checked out but fingers crossed you are lucky like me.

@Pregnantera thank you for sharing, it's great to hear a positive outcome from a similar scenario! Glad you had great news 😊

@TheKookySquid that’s ok and I am praying that you have good news too.

I bled heavily passing large clots for 10 days straight around that time with no reason they could find behind it.
She's now 6 🥰
Fingers crossed for you
