OH FGS- I need a definitive answer on when I can test, can any of you lovely ladies put me out of my misery?

I've had mucho conflicting advice so please someone, spell it out for a poor thick girl.

Ok, we had sex when I was definitely ovulating (I know the signs) and we also did it a couple of days later. Then period came on time as usual. I've been told that means nothing though and I could still concieve, and I need to wait til my NEXT period is late before I can test which is weeks away. e

Is that right? Can I test any earlier? Can I have a stiff whisky?

I thought that if you got your period, then you will need to try to conceive during the next ovulation window... right? How long have you been trying?
Sometimes it takes a few months.

iiiiiiiiif you suspect that your period was lighter than usual then it might possibly have been an implantation bleed - and you can test whenever you want to check. However as BlueDragonfly and star6 says - it is most likely that it was a period and you are not pg.

Sorry, we aren't actively ttc I was just wondering as we've been a bit risky the past few times. Hmm, dragonfly that makes sense to me. Is that what everyone thinks?
