Whilst away I had cramps and had to see the obstetrician I am 26 weeks pregnant. The midwife before did the doppler and was pressing very hard down on where baby is to find the heartbeat, I am quite a petite person but she said baby was moving and couldn’t find the heartbeat. I’ve never had a midwife press so hard I even had bruising and soreness for quite a few days after, I’m really worried she could have hurt the baby by pressing down so hard. Has anyone else experienced this?
