Any successful pregnancy with slow rising HCG?

I had tested on 14 dpo and got HCG 226. And then after two weeks, I tested again and it's 562 I.e at 6 weeks. What's the meaning of this, I did IVF. Anyone with postive stories who has low HCG at 6 weeks.

Did your IVF clinic do the tests? Are they scamming you soon? You should really have your HCG two days apart. In all honesty that doesn’t sound good at all. HCG should double every 48-72 hours. In my experience it will be unlikely to be a viable pregnancy. But you need this confirmed by a scan. Your IVF clinic should be able to explain all this to you.

Mine didn’t always double in 48hrs and I’m 39w now. It’s not an exact science and sometimes it takes more around the 72hrs. That being said I’d expect yours to be higher 2 weeks later. Only thing you can do is ask the clinic to retake the bloods 2/3 days apart, book an early private scan or wait for your first scan at the IVF clinic. Scans are the only real way to confirm pregnancy is viable so personally I’d be leaning towards this and leaving the bloods alone. Good luck

No I took private blood test, as I was not in my hometown. They didn't take 2-3 days apart, initially it was above 200 and they said I was pregnant, and I just wanted to see how much it is in my 6th week and it's very low. So I had 13 days gap.

If you did the test correctly and it is an accurate result then this is not a viable pregnancy. Ask the clinic for more support, they should be guiding you through this.

I would speak to your IVF clinic. Are they scanning you soon? I would tell them your blood results and either ask them if they’ll re-do them with two tests 48 hours apart or ask if they will be doing a scan for viability. When I’ve had IVF they’ve always done a viability scan after a positive test. Your other option is to book a private viability scan but they aren’t always that good.

If you’ve been offered methotrexate they must be pretty sure you have a non viable pregnancy? What tests have you had?

How many weeks are you meant to be? When did you first get a positive test?

If it’s an IVF pregnancy what have your clinic said? Was it the clinic that scanned you or an EPU? Are they suspecting ectopic? Because if nothing was seen on a scan at 6 weeks that’s normally not good news. It really isn’t just about slow rising HCG. They take into account all factors. If your HCG is low/slow rising AND nothing has been seen on a scan at 6 weeks they may be concerned about an ectopic. Did they not discuss it all with you when they advised the methotrexate? Have they offered you another scan in a week or two? What did they actually say to you?

At first they said ill get another scan in a weeks time but they called back to say no pont that they will give the methotrexate cause they suspect its a PUL. My ivf was done abroad so its EPU seeing me
