C-section scar worries/pain after scan/worried about birth and bump growth

Im pregnant almost 13 weeks and very happy
I had an emergency c-section 2yrs and 10 months ago. So almost 3 years. This baby is due in Spring.
I have had 2 scans lately and each time the sonographer pressed down I experienced a sharp pain where the scar is.
Im now worried that as my bump grows and the baby presses against the scar area internally im going to be in pain. Im also nervous to have another c section. I have had normal deliveries before so I prefer a natural vaginal delivery. But im scared because my bmi isn't great they will make me have a planned c section. The other thing is im worried that when im delivering (if i do have a vbac) is that the c section scar will rip and tear open or i will be in immense pain.

Is this normal to feel pain almost 3 years on. She did press down quite hard to be able to see the baby as I have an extra mum tum.

Hi, sorry I can't advise on the pain but I had a c section with my daughter and was pregnant again with my son when she was 7 months old. There's a 16 month gap between them and my scar held up absolutely fine during his pregnancy, despite the fact he was born weighing 10lbs13oz!!! (He was also born by c section)
They are now 15 and 16 and I'm pregnant again! So very big gap, I'm assuming the scar is fully healed lol as I'm 21 weeks now and no issues x

I had an EMCS with my first, and 26 months later have birth vaginally to 2nd.

No issues with scar from my experience.

I had an emcs with my first, then a elcs 24 months later with no issues. Also to add the emcs was at 35 weeks and the following elcs at 39 weeks. I was worried about growing an extra 4 weeks bigger than before but it was fine. I was potentially going to choose vbac but I just had an instinct that my body would go to 41/42 weeks and need induction and I wasn’t willing to be induced after a cs.

Talk to your midwife or ask to see if you can talk to a consultant?

I haven’t had a baby but I had a fibroid removed that was bigger than my uterus and they made a hip to hip cut which is basically identical to a c section scar. It does still hurt at random times, time of the month, when I bend over for too long etc. I was told it’s the result of scar tissue and depends on your body but can happen to women who’ve had c-sections. It won’t make the scar split open.
