i think it is not until the very end of pregnancy. then they measure you and often recommend the next size up.
have you looked in Mothercare?

From memory, I think it's at about 38 weeks pg

I was wondering that too. I'm assuming I'll do it at about 36/7 weeks (but I'm having an elective c-section between 38 and 39, so if I wasn't I might wait an extra week or so.....).

When I was pg with dd - prob about 38 weeks I remember going to M and S to be fitted and I heard a woman in another cubicle being asked when seh was due. Her reply was "I'm in the early stages of labour now I think". . I remember being very impressed that she'd gone out shopping to pass the time!!!

we haven't got mothercare
I'm getting less and less mobile, what can I do if can't actually get to shops at 38 weeks?

I bought a cheap one from ebay (about £6) at my usual size (so far no increase when in size). I have also kept some older bras that if they get stretched it won't matter.

Once we are home and established, I'll get fitted again.
