TMI PIC INCLUDED Help! Coloured mucus 7.5 weeks pregnant

Hi, I’m currently 7.5 weeks pregnant after having a complicated missed miscarriage in the summer. So I’m very anxious following that! At 6 weeks pregnant I had a bad back and the tiniest bit of pink in my discharge (to the point where if i
wasnt pregnant and checking every wipe with a fine tooth comb I wouldn't have seen it). Went to EPU and they confirmed the pregnancy and a heart beat measuring correctly which was great. Follow on a week and I had a bit of back pain and then some brown in my discharge (more than the pink). My rational brain decided if it ramped up to call EPU again but as it didn’t I’ve put it down to the slight pink I had the week before. Now 5 days later I’ve just wiped and I have this. Am I having another miscarriage? Anyone have any positive stories that had this type of coloured discharge in the first trimester and a healthy baby at the end? Feeling so disheartened 😭

I wouldn't say that would be concerning as you have a scan its usually when bright red blood. Ive had bleeding for 6 days, but it its slowing down but had clots too and had scan couldn't see a heartbeat but a gestational sac and yolk so got wait 2 weeks for scan. So not sure if viable or not but they think dates might be wrong but I dont think they are.

I’m so sorry, it’s all so scary. Did they see any reason for your bleeding?

No couldn't find a reason which is really frustrating, I was wrong my bleeding has got any better just gone toilet and the wee is red. I cant understand why have to wait 2 weeks. As the last time I done the deed was 14th September so cant be any lower on dates.
I hear people do get like brown discharge but I would ring them up if your worried as you dont want to have extra stress x

I had brown discharge, more than this during my 3rd pregnancy. Unfortunately this ended in a loss.

Ive also had this in my 4th pregnancy, it turned bright red and was literally flooded with blood. I went to EPAU and was told i had a haematoma, this resolved itself and im now currently 37+4 impatiently and anxiously awaiting the arrival of my baby boy!

It can go either way unfortunately! They say if its not bright red and clots its fine. But my 3rd pregnancy i had brown discharge (again a lot more than this) didnt trust it and i trusted my gut and found it was my 3rd loss.

Trust your gut. If you dont feel like its right go get checked out

Was it a missed miscarriage for you @LER2023? Or did it ramp up and turn into a normal miscarriage? I definitely feel pregnant (nauseous, sore nipples, absolutely knackered) and with my missed miscarriage my sickness went away overnight, like I felt refreshed and I was so pleased, but in reality that’s when the baby passed away.

I had a little bit of bleeding with my first pregnancy and then dark red discharge later (more than the photo). I was told brown was old blood. Also had brown discharge in the second pregnancy but given the first, I didn’t worry and both were healthy pregnancies. All the best OP but do get it checked if you are worried x

Yes, unfortunately ive had 3 missed miscarriages.
Ive had to wait a week between all to confirm them.

With the first 2 i should have been around 7/8 weeks, but pregnancy ended at 5/6 weeks, and the third i should have been 10 weeks and baby was measuring 6 weeks.

Its so difficult when you've experienced a previous loss!

I didnt have many symptoms with my first 3 pregnancies, i had slight nausea and sore nipples, but thats about it and mine had gone away maybe a week before my miscarriages.
With this pregnancy, ive been exhausted, sick, nipples felt like they were being carved off with a rusty butter knife, achey!
