Shooting pains and pressure in pelvis 36 weeks

Over the last few days I can only describe what feel like shooting pains at the front of my pelvis, kind of from the pubic bone all the way down but inside when baby is moving. Bit like lightening crotch but this feels more stabby than before and can take my breath away. I feel them more when she is moving or has hiccups, definitely more when stood up and get relief when I sit.

Baby has always been very high and I’ve had a lot of rib pain but head has been down but not engaged since 28 weeks.
Could this be baby moving down more and engaging? Trying to keep calm. This is my second baby and I don’t feel like these are contractions, they’re too low but do feel so much of her movements and they make squirm they’re so intense. It’s like she is corkscrewing down as graphic as that is 😖the pressure of my bladder is sharp and I take a breath when I feel her moving.

Anyone else had this? Really not looking for an early labour as booked for an ELCS 😥

I had similar on my third. Really intense pain on a Friday, nothing I did could shift it, no position I tried was comfortable, I actually got quite upset with the level of pain/discomfort but knew it wasn’t contractions. It was definitely baby dropping down. I went into labour the following Monday morning!
