How do we cope for this long and try and be positive. They said cervix closed but that means nothing and said dates might be wrong but dont feel they are. How am I meant to get through this. Im not soaking a pad just like a teaspoon its more going for a wee and wiping bright red and like snotty dark red on tissue it. I just cant keep positive and really struggling with this

Sorry you’re going through this. I had a lot of problems with this too, my worse experience was a
bleed at 12 weeks, huge clots, it took about 6 weeks to go completely with the latter end being brown then black blood (old blood). She’s 17 years old now so these things can work out ok. I have also had bleeding in very early pregnancy, a few times, but the scan was pretty clear that it was going to miscarry, which is a spontaneous reaction by the body once the pregnancy has failed, and in my cases you could see from the image that the sac itself was imploding and hadn’t been a successful pregnancy. I hope you can take some hope from this. my obstetrician wasn’t too bothered with my big bleed, she just said I can see the heart beat so im
happy, I often get ladies with bleeding, it’s very common, and doesn’t necessarily mean miscarriage
best of luck

I think I saw your other thread. You’re meant to be like 7/8 weeks right but only measuring 5/6 with no heartbeat? It is horrible having to wait the two weeks for confirmation either way but as I think other people said on your last thread it doesn’t sound good in your case so sadly all you can do is wait. I don’t think dates can be that far out unfortunately but until they confirm it there is always hope.

I have had a few missed miscarriages myself. One measuring 5 when should have been 7, and the other there was only a sac at 7. Both times I had to wait 2 weeks for confirmation and then I booked in for surgery to remove. It is really awful but unfortunately they just won’t risk saying for definite it’s not viable until they can reconfirm with another scan.
