Hi all, I don’t know whether it’s me or I’m just experiencing my second pregnancy differently but I’ve had no morning sickness. Should I be worried? I’m coming up to 7 weeks now. I know everyone says everybody is different. I’m just a bit on the is this normal plus I’m still waiting for a midwife appointment to come through but I don’t know how long these things take now as everything has changed since my last pregnancy which was years ago and I have a nice big gap between my babies x

I had no morning sickness with any of my pregnancies. I would feel queasy and the need to poo instead!

I did lose all symptoms with one pregnancy which turned out to be a mmc. But it was all symptoms, sore boobs etc. all went.

From what I have experienced, it feels like nausea without the sickness, I’ve experienced the normal tiredness the odd cramp here in there but nothing saying otherwise and mainly my boobs are hurting.

sorry to here about you’re mmc, ❤️

I had a bit of nausea with DD in the evenings but very few and far between from maybe 10 weeks. DS on the other hand…projectile vomiting as soon as the clock struck 7pm most nights from 6 until 17ish weeks…awful. Congrats!! (Probably should have started with that). I think it varies where you are, I’m in SE and I done the online referral to midwifery when I was about 5/6 weeks both times and the letter came through at 10weeks for an appt a few days later then once you have that appt they’ll book you in for your 12wk scan. Best of luck :))

My first child I experienced - bleeding (hospital claimed I was never pregnant through blood test was a young 17/18yr old) turned out 7wks I was pregnant that little boy caused me nothing but trouble, terrible morning sickness and what I thought was going to be an OK birth ended up in emergency C-section as he got stuck in my canal amongst other little problems in between.

Thank you. I just needed peace of mind that I wasn’t going insane that I’m sat here waiting for a letter or a phone call. That’s the only reason I’ve signed up to this page because I’ve got now a massive gap between my son and now to be again baby no2 ❤️

First pregnancy I had zero sickness... Currently 6 weeks and constantly feel nauseous but haven't actually been sick it's grim!!!

BudgetBuster · 27/10/2025 21:29

When pregnant in 2023 / 2024 with my boy, I had no sickness at all. I was very hungry and would get light headed if I didn't eat every 2-3 hours (even had crackers and flapjacks next to the bed for midnight wakings). I never once felt sick or got sick.

Currently 7 weeks pregnant and the last week has been rough. If I'm not eating or sipping on a drink, I'm nauseous or vomiting. I am eating crackers while making dinner because the smell is making me gag. I can eat anything but 10 minutes after eating I'm feeling sick again 😂

Very different. But my now 19 month old won't let me rest so I wonder does that play a part

Objectiontime · 27/10/2025 21:29

I had it mildly but my mum said she never had a single sign of it with any of her pregnancies at all.

Superscientist · 28/10/2025 10:28

I have had 3 pregnancies with hyperemesis and 1 with minimal sickness. The 3 pregnancies with hyperemesis were my daughter and two miscarriages and the pregnancy with minimal sickness was my son. For me level of symptoms didn't correspond with healthy/unhealthy pregnancy. I was 7.5 weeks when I found out I was pregnant with my son!

Kreatela · 28/10/2025 12:25

I had literally no sickness. I wouldn’t even know I was pregnant. So I was like you - feeling that something was not right. Mainly because this pregnancy happened literally a cycle after a miscarriage. So each scan I was more worried about some bad news. But nope - all is well, both scans absolutely fine, I think I am now just going to enjoy the rest.
So try not to panic, I know, easily said than done, but you might be one of the women who just sail through with no sickness :)

fansbackintheloft · 28/10/2025 12:28

I didn’t have any morning sickness with either of mine or any other symptoms. I did start to feel slightly nauseous for about 10 minutes after I took my pregnancy multivitamin tablets but that was it.

ladygindiva · 28/10/2025 17:04

I had horrific morning sickness with dc1 , actually vomiting 5 + times a day every single day of the forty odd weeks of pregnancy including when I was in labour. Second pregnancy, didn't puke once, despite it being twins and that supposedly making sickness more likely.

SemmaLina · 28/10/2025 17:08

No morning sickness ( 2 pregnancies )
Had total exhaustion, restless legs and could not drink coffee , at all , it just tasted horrid ( I drank hot Ribera instead )

KnottyKnitting · 28/10/2025 17:11

I didn’t have any morning sickness with either of my pregnancies. Vague feeling of nausea occasionally but nothing a few mints didn’t soothe.

BritishDesiGirl · 29/10/2025 15:05

I'm taking aspirin and fragmin and they are making me feel nauseas. Definitely the medication causing it.

BritishDesiGirl · 29/10/2025 15:07

Just to add, l suffer from travel sickness so definitely more prone to sickness as it comes from the same place. It's from the inner ear.
