Hi I'm 35+5 weeks today and having quite a lot of 'symptoms' going on and wondered if anyone else is feeling or having the same....

●Absolutely exhausted all the time
●Swollen hands and ankles
●Bit of a cold
●Insomnia
●Needing to wee every hour basically
●Period like cramps
●Backache
●Lightning Crotch
●Not diahorrea but alot of Number 2's
ALOT of discharge
●^^ Feels like im leaking sometimes

Saw my midwife last week and my blood pressure was borderline normal but by the end of the appointment she said it was fine and just to keep an eye on my swelling. Also got a hospital appointment tomorrow so if theres anything you think I need to mention in particular then please advise me.

From one deflated pregnant lady who is ready to meet their baby now 😫

Im 37+2 and all of those you've mentioned are happening still😅

I had to finish work at 34 weeks because it was a nightmare for me!
Constantly exhausted, swollen feet and ankles, just been told to keep an eye on them for further swelling. I cant fit into any of my shoes anymore🙃
Ive become more and more snotty as time has gone on, the changing of weather really doesnt help. One minute its 14 degrees the next its 8 and freezing, the heating is on and off since i cant regulate my body temp! I got over the sleep thing a while ago, i have PGP so sleep hasnt been a thing for me since around 24 weeks.. ive always been up in some sort of pain and now im up at god knows what time of night because my body thinks its hilarious not to give me sleep, but then i have a nap in the day because im thay exhausted.
Peeing is ridiculous... dont sneeze🤣

Cramps and backache is just your body adjusting to the weight of baby, it puts a hell of a lot of strain on you and your body!!

It doesnt get much easier on the lightening crotch, my baby is engaged and lord.. i feel it😅

Nothing wrong with a good clear out! Your hormones will be doing wild shit🤣 literally!!!

The discharge is a fucking joke.. have i pee'd? Have my waters broke? Is it discharge? Im sick of washing like 4 pairs of underwear and 2 pair of trousers a day!!!🙃

I feel your pain!!! Its pain that we have to go through as we're growing our babies! Id like to say it gets easier. But right now it hasnt and i dont think it will until baby is here🤣

@anon1411 You’ve just brought back memories for me! I gave birth in May and had most of these symptoms. Especially the discharge (I ended up going to a&e thinking it was my waters slowing leaking) and the bowel movements. Oh and the extra snot throughout the pregnancy, it used to do my head in. At 38 weeks I stopped working and on day 38+3 I said to my husband the two magic words, “I’m bored.” And she came the next day. No braxton hicks, no mucus plug, no normal symptoms just straight to labour. So maybe there’s hope for you that baby will come before you get so fed up you can’t cope anymore?! Sending lots of positive vibes your way and an understanding hug, it does get better after and I’m sure you know… it’s so worth it 🥰
