On holiday in France took a test with weak urine in the middle
of the day, didn’t see anything immediately so took it as negative. 5 mins later saw this … evaporation line or positive? It’s a mercuracado French test so no idea what they’re like. I think I’m 13 dpo

There’s too much dye bled on there, that can cause false lines as it sits in the test indent. You have to disregard that test and retest, dip in a sample and don’t pee on the test to avoid flooding.

If you're unsure, the only thing to do is take another in a day or two.
I usually use the tests from action, or the cheapest ones in intermarche and they've been reliable for me.
Personally the test in the photo looks positive, however, if its outside of the test frame (although 5 minutes I imagine is the cusp) and if you think it's got dye bleed then don't even bother trying to decipher the what ifs. Just grab another.

I’d count it as a positive until proven otherwise!

That test continued to get much darker even though I know it was well out of the time frame so sort of convinced myself it might be good news but took another test this morning and although the line was still there it was much lighter. Due AF today so taking it as a chemical. Our previous pregnancies were IVF due to immune issues so I imagine my immune systems up to its old tricks! Thank you for your support x

That one was definitely a light positive. I hope AF stays away. Chemicals suck.

The plot thickens, got home this evening and had an old Femometer strip which I took with evening urine and it’s much darker. Now I don’t know whether to make a private GO appointment in the morning and hope that they’ll prescribe me some progesterone and go up to London and get a blood test for progesterone and HCG as I would normally do but don’t really have the £250 it’s going to cost or just sit back and do nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'd take that as a positive then !
Have you indicators to suggest that you need progesterone from prior pregnancies or fertility treatments?
If not I'm not sure why you'd need to, and the hcg tests would be mostly for peace of mind but won't tell you if it's going to end in a full term pregnancy.
If you're comfortable waiting it out then save your pennies for all the baby things you'll need! X

Any recent test pictures op hoping its good news for you

Still a bit all over the place. The tests are all still quite light and not getting loads darker (as they have done with previous pregnancies). Went for HCG and progesterone blood test Wednesday and my HCG was 87.5 and progesterone 60. When I’d had the same test same day in previous successful cycles numbers were always over 300. Had a repeat of the blood test today and awaiting results. Took a first response this morning which was darker than previous but far lighter than with previous pregnancies. I fear HCG is rising slowly. Will be interested in today’s results. A bit all over the place tbh!

That sounds ok for 15dpo tbf. Again, I know urine HCG is slightly lower, but based on my calcs from my tests I was around 80miu at 16dpo, and I’m now 27.5 weeks! Good luck xx

Got the results back on Friday and was 191 so just over doubled. The tests are getting darker by the day which is really comforting! Numbers still seem so low as they were 400/500 then over 1000 on the same dpo with my previous 2 pregnancies compared to 87 and 191 this time. I also have felt nothing in terms of twinges/cramps/pulling
/bloating which I had with the last two. But will definitely take the darker tests and no AF and countdown to first scan in 2ish weeks!
