Anyone had experience going for a scan seeing a gestational sac and yolk sac but no heartbeat

Ive had bleeding since Friday like a period type, had a scan today and they said can see a gestational sac and yolk but not heartbeat yet. They said I've got a closed cervix but cant say wether its a viable or unviable. I thought i was 7 weeks but they think less but have to wait weeks for a check. Has anyone had any experience like this do I get my hopes up or not?

A closed cervix and still bleeding is a threatened miscarriage i was told this on my 3rd pregnancy.

It doesnt sound promising unfortunately especially if you're meant to be 7 weeks.

I didn't want to read and run. I'm so sorry this is your experience, unfortunately at 7 weeks you should be able to see more on a scan. Unfortunately it sounds like the fetus may have stopped growing or is growing but very slowly. I have had a scan early on where I was showing 8 days behind and all was well, it caught up eventually, but I had no bleeding.

Did they take bloods at the hospital?

They took blood test friday and my levels were high. My last day of period was 7th September had the deed on Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday.i did think could ovulation be late by few days but still wouldn't be emiugh to be that early. I tested positive on 24th September so I think am roughly 6 to 7 weeks but think ive got feeling that its just stopped growing

If you tested positive on 24th September you can’t be under 7 weeks. Even allowing for testing positive at 7dpo that makes you over 7 weeks now. Sorry OP but if I were you I’d prepare for the worst. Obviously no one can say for definite if it’s going to be good or bad news but I would just be prepared if it was me.

What I've read and with my gut feeling I know im not expecting anything positive
