First midwife app with rainbow after TFMR

I have my booking appointment on Wednesday, I’ll be 9 weeks! I’m so nervous because I need to ask for early NIPT & consultant lead care as my first pregnancy ended in a TFMR due to T21 at 15 weeks Nervous of how this pregnancy is going to go as all I’ve known is the scary side of pregnancy.. staying hopeful🙏🏻🌈❤️

Congratulations OP! I had a tfmr at 16w in between DD and DS, and remember crying with relief at my 12w scan for DS when the sonographer said everything looked good... I don't think I'd realised how worried I was. Keeping my fingers crossed for a successful pregnancy x

Thank you so much! We haven’t really had the chance to be happy just yet because of wha happened last time, we haven’t told half of the people we told the first time either as the ‘how’s everything going’ question and the answer being not good & having to explain to them why it’s not good was too much for the both of us. We’ve told our parents and 2 of my sister in laws, that’s all. I’ll definitely keep you updated! My appointment is at 9am tomorrow so I’ll let you know if they give me earlier scans/tests xx

Congrats! I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant with rainbow baby. After losing a baby at 13 weeks to T13 earlier this year. The bereavement midwife told me to contact her once I was pregnant again. She need booked my nipt blood test for 10 weeks. Also an early scan at 8 weeks for dating for the nipt. All come back low risk and 12 and 20 week scans were very thorough. Good luck xx

Aw congratulations!! I’m praying tomorrow I get some good news regarding early tests/scans, I’ll be 9 weeks tomorrow xx

My midwife today has booked an early scan next Wednesday for me & they have offered the NIPT screening at that appointment if I’m measuring 10 weeks, if not they will just rearrange it for another day xx
