Hi everyone,
I’m feeling a bit anxious and could use some advice. Background - I had a tube removed due to an ectopic in 2020 and after a HSG they said my remaining tube was blocked and I would be unable to conceive. 5 years later and I’m pregnant! I’ve had my daughter via IVF who is 19 months now.
- My last menstrual period was 10 September
- I only had sex on 23 September
- My cycles are normally 28 days.
- I had a negative pregnancy test on cycle day 31, then a positive on cycle day 35
- My hCG seemed to rise slowly on Clearblue Digital tests, staying at 2-3 weeks
- I had a private abdominal scan at 6 weeks 1 day. The sonographer said I looked about 4–5 weeks at first, but then she saw a gestational sac, yolk sac, and the start of a fetal pole. She said I was “measuring behind.”
- I’m having a scan at 7 weeks soon. I only have early scans due to history of ectopic pregnancies
I’m worried about the late positive and the small measurements on the early scan
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did things progress normally for you? Any reassurance would be really appreciated.
