Hi everyone, first pregnancy at 36 and I'm 7+1. I had an ultrasound at 6+3 which showed a heart beat. I started getting pink spotting (once a day) about 4 days before the scan, creamy/yellow discharge the day before that so I thought maybe it's thrush, GP gave me pessaries for 6 days. The pink has almost stopped but I've now had red a few times. The first being after night 2 of the pessaries and is really struggled to get it in, just felt like the applicator was scraping against me so although I was shocked when I had blood on wiping the following afternoon, there was a tiny rational part of me saying that's probably why. That was the most red, probably 2/3cm x 2cm on the tissue. I've had a couple of bits since that are 1/2mm across, including this morning (photo hopefully attached with my red thumb nail) despite having finished my pessaries 2 nights ago. Has anyone else had this? The EPU just said to call back if it soaks through a pad, and the midwife I saw for my booking appointment the other day said it's probably the thrush, but shouldn't that be gone now 🤔 I've had occasional cramping which does feel localised to my cervix but no where near bad enough to take pain killers. It's odd but most of my spotting has almost been in these small chunks, not like a big wet smear.
