Illness in pregnancy

I’m 7w4d and had both my flu and covid jabs 11 days ago. I woke up today with minor sore throat and congested nose. I know people say minor illness is ok but can anyone reassure me? This is my first pregnancy and I’m so scared about everything. How minor is ok and when do I worry? x

Don't worry! I know it's hard to not panic. If it's any help I had two kidney infections, severe food poisoning and pleurisy when I was pregnant with my daughter and she's had no ill effects from any of it! Get as much rest as you can and try not to stress. x

I remember having a flu like virus when pregnant and feeling quite ill. I didn't think anything of it and internet was in its infancy so didn't look anything up. Child is 25 now and all is fine!

I had suspected whooping cough in my first trimester. I had had two losses the previous year so was apprehensive. Baby arrived in September no issues from the bug.
