Cramping & dull ache

Hey!
I’m currently 4weeks & 2 days pregnant with baby No 4,
But I was having a fair bit of cramping just on my right side lower abdomen going down into my leg, over the weekend, which has now become a constant dull ache. contacted midwife who have referred me to early pregnancy I’ve had a phone call. - I’ve got to go for blood tests tomorrow morning to measure HGC levels. But I’m so scared right now. Is this normal? I found out I was pregnant way before period was due. And lines were super dark. But now I’m worried everything is not ok.
no bleeding or anything just awful pains on my right side 🥺 I don’t know what to think and im soooooo worried. 😟

Hello there. I'm sorry you're having this worry.
I think they're trying to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, with your symptoms.

I hope the scan shows that the pregnancy is in the right place. If the pain gets worse, or you start bleeding, do call 111 for advice.

It could just be ligament pain, though.
I had four babies, and there were definitely more aches and pains in the last two. Quite often, it's nothing to worry about - but they do need to check that you're not having an ectopic.
