Should I be worried?

Hi ladies, my records should that I'm approximately 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant today. However, the clear blue test I've taken dates me at 1-2 weeks (so 3-4 weeks) pregnant. Also, the FRER positive line isn't as dark as the control line.

This is my first pregnancy and I starting to worry that the results indicate that everything isn't how it should be.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Stop doing so many tests! Once youve got a positive you dont need to do more! It varies at different parts of the day & how much youve drank etc. its stupid to keep wasting money on tests.

If things do go wrong (hopefully they dont and you have a lovely healthy baby) stressing yourself out wont change a thing unfortunately. So just take it as your pregnant and wait for your scan.

Do you know for certain when you ovulated? BBT chart? OPKs are not certain. If you don't do BBT, you may have ovulated later than you thought. When was your first positive test? That might help confirm your ovulation date.

If you did ovulate around 28th September then I agree these lines are faint. However, as pp said, this can be affected by benign factors too. You just can't tell at this stage. Put the tests down!

I don't do BBT. I got a positive OPK on 28 September. I got my first positive pregnancy result on 14 October (it was very very faint)

Okay, well then...

Scenario A. You did ovulate the day after your pos OPK, so 29th September. You got a very faint BFP on 15dpo. This is less likely to be a healthy pregnancy (though it is often course possible).

Scenario B. Your body failed to ovulate after your positive OPK, but had another go a week or so later, which you didn't know about. You got pregnant later than you thought and your tests therefore indicate exactly the dates you'd expect.

Either is possible I'm afraid, and you will just have to wait and see. 🤞
