Toddler HFMD and schedule section

So my toddler was sick Friday, thought it was a standard stomach bug (annoying but able to deal) until the spots appeared.

Now I’m in a flap because I’m due a c section next Monday and I have no idea if she’s going to spread it to me / if they’ll postpone the section.

Does anyone have any experience? Or advice

Hi, how did it go???

I rang the hospital and they rang the infection control people who advised they kept me separate from everyone regardless of if I had symptoms or not.

Thankfully I didn’t get it, but they still kept me to the end of the list and In a separate waiting room. I also got a private room after in recovery / the ward. So kind of a vague blessing in disguise !
