Hi everyone,
The first day of my LMP was 22nd August which puts me at 8+2 weeks. However I went for an early scan 15th due to some bleeding and I was measuring more like 7 weeks when I should have been 7+5 weeks. However I feel like if I was less than I thought surely my tests wouldn’t have been positive as soon as they were and I wouldn’t have had symptoms so soon? Which is more accurate to go off? Do I change all my tracking apps to be less than what I thought I was? Any advice please as even though it’s only about 5 days out it feels like a big difference to how far I actually am
thanks xxxxx

Hi, so personally I changed my dates to what they measured me as when I had an early scan.
However, when I then went for a dating scan at 12 weeks I was measuring just over 13 weeks for this little one and so changed all my dates back again

Even though I know when I ovulated and there was only 1 chance of having gotten pregnant, sometimes babies just have a little growth spurt!
Also when you're that early even being mms out changes the dates dramatically - when they're a bit bigger it's easier to get a better measurement I'm sure

Wait until your dating scan at 12 weeks as that’s when the pregnancy is dated and due date confirmed. LMP until then.
