I have a ferrtin level of 8 ug/L and a haemoglobin level of 108g/L.

I've felt god awful my entire pregnancy, like I just want to pass out all the time and I can't even remotely concentrate.

Been on at the doctors to help me for 4 months now.

Iron tablets are causing rectal bleeding, stomach pains and nausea, and my bloods are still getting worse despite being on them.

No one seems concerned though? Should I be pushing for an iron infusion?

My results say "Abnormal" but I don't think the doctors are fussed.

That does seem particularly low, especially the ferritin/iron stores level. I'd push for an infusion if you can. I had low iron most of pregnancy, thankfully it went up in later pregnancy (had been on iron tablets all pregnancy) because I lost a lot of blood at birth and my iron level plummeted - all fine now, although I needed a blood transfusion. Without a better iron level before birth I imagine recovery would have been harder. Hope you get listened to soon!

I’m similar OP, my ferritin is 6 and can’t tolerate the tablets either so I plan to ask my midwife next week if there are any alternatives that may be a bit gentler on the system

Try something like Floradix as it’s much more absorbable than iron tablets.
