8DP5DT - too faint?

Hello,

I’m 8DP5DT (8 days past 5 day transfer) and have this result from the first urine sample of the day.

Transferred 2 3BB embryos last week and assumed if our 3AA’s didn’t implant then these wouldn’t either but something is happening. Just worried that it’s crueler than a negative and it’s actually chemical/ectopic.

I will test again Saturday (48 hrs) but I’m a test addict so I’ll no doubt test again tomorrow too. I’d just hoped for a darker line at this stage.

Just looks like an early positive. I'm not familiar with IVF terms per se but I think you still aren't meant to test til day 10 is that right? I have no doubt that in 48 hours this will be darker! There is colour to the line 😊

Thank you @BudgetBuster . Yes, my clinic asked me to test at 12 days past transfer and I cheated at 8! I took another today and it is still faint but a bit darker. So I’ll be happy to see the same improvement tomorrow.

My tests were still really faint at 8 days post transfer, I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant. How'd you get on this morning?

I tested 10dp3dt so the embryo would be same age age as yours an I got a faint line. It turned into a successful pregnancy so the result was real. I would stay cautious as it’s such early days but definitely looks good.

Thanks for the reassurance. Still early days and have HCG tests booked for next week.

I did test yesterday and again today. I got the first positive on a digital today so it’s increasing, just feel so slow!!

pregnancy and I had an early miscarriage.
