What did you see at 5w 2d please?

Hello, I’ve just had an early pregnancy scan at 5 weeks pregnant due to previous miscarriages (6 early miscarriage and 1 live birth) and they saw a gestational sac but no yolk sac, I wasn’t expecting a fetal pole yet.

I understand this can be normal for some due to it being so early or indicate a problem, I wondered if you could share what you saw at this stage for some reassurance or realistic perspectives.

The nurse gave me cyclogest and I’m also on clexane, and a repeat scan next Thursday booked! I also understand that nothing is guaranteed, but I love hearing others views and experiences to help make the week go faster.

I had an early scan at 5 weeks 5 days and saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, no fetal pole. I'm not sure when the yolk sac should become visible though? I remember those early worrying weeks and how long it seemed to take between scans! Good luck🤞🏼 hope it's good news at your next scan!

I went for a scan the same gestation and only saw the gestational sac. I’m currently 22w pregnant x

Following as I’m currently going through the exact same thing! I’ve had multiple miscarriages, 1 live birth and currently pregnant again. I went for a scan on Tuesday this week which showed an empty gestational sac measuring 5 weeks 2 days. I’m unsure of my dates as my little girl is 8 months old and my periods have not long been back.
My first scan with her only showed an empty gestational sac then a week later a yolk, fetal pole and heart beat it can happen and I have my fingers crossed this is what happens again.
are you sure of your dates? If so I think it’s completely normal at this stage as everything is so small.
