I said i would write this down to give hope to any woman that might be going through a similar experience. My baby had a measurement of 7.8 mm nuchal fold at my 20 week nhs scan while all other measurements were looking fine. As expected me and my husband were devestated and anxious of being refferred to FMU for further testing which was done 5 days after. At the FMU the mesasurement was closer to 5.8 mm but we were still scared and ended up getting an amniocentesis done. The results were clear and thw genetic testing came clear as well. Now we have a perfectly healthy baby boy and all that stress was for nothing. This is to show that a measurement on its own is nothing to be scared of and to keep thinking positively.
