Hi all,
Ive googled that it can be normal but I wanted to know your experiences.
im just sat on the sofa relaxing and i can feel the adrenaline in my body. It’s like a nervous energy.
i am currently 27weeks pregnant.
I would say that im getting out of breath quite easily where im needing to take deep breaths in.

any experiences of symptoms?

Are you anemic? I would get in touch with your midwife

They are both symptoms of anemia but it might not be so I would phone your midwife and you should get a blood test
I took pregnacare but it wasn’t enough to prevent anemia

I had these in my second pregnancy - they turned out to be a reaction to caffeine in pregnancy - never had it before or since that pregnancy - apparently you can sometimes get an aversion! It blinking scared me at the time though!

How did you find out it was an aversion? I am having cups of tea and lemonade but I’d say it’s only been for the past couple of weeks that it’s happened.

Have you counted your heart rate? And does it feel regular? Best to see Dr if above 100. Or irregular. Worth iron and thyroid check and if spells of quite fast, or chest pain/shortness of breath/dizziness perhaps ECG and BBC done other heart investigations.
can be a common sensation in. Formal pregnancy without anything wrong though esp if still normal rate.

for some reason can’t edit my terrible spelling and punctuation. Should say common sensation in normal pregnancy

I also had this, this pregnancy within the 2nd trimester.
Just anxiety like feeling along with arrhythmia (fast hr and skipping beats) it would happen when I was sat having done nothing. I had it a handful of times with no rhyme or reason behind it. I don't drink anything other than water and occasionally juice so no caffeine affects, and I eat fairly well and exercise (aside from the 1st tri issues) nothing that I would consume would result in the palpitations (ie, if I had curry one night, that same curry wouldn't result in the heart issues another night and my workouts never caused any issues)
All seems to have subsided now and I haven't had any issues since about 32w? Coming into the 3rd trimester anyway.
I think, as some people have said, if you're very worried go get checked. But sometimes pregnancy things just happen without any reason or negative impact.

I got occasional heart palpitations (like once a month) during pregnancy. Had it in 2 previous pregnancies and in this one currently. I never got it checked out, maybe I should have.

Hi. I've had this recently; I'm nearly 20 weeks. It happens at random, even when I'm trying to get to sleep. I do have a tea in the morning, but don't think it's connected to that. As far as I know, it's normal, but will raise it with my midwife.
