34 weeks PGP/ SPD or cramps? What does it feel like

Currently 34 weeks and up until this point I’ve experienced a lot of rib pain and discomfort as baby as been sitting so high.
Almost overnight I feel like she has moved down, maybe engaged, discomfort gone in my ribs but have started to get some pains/cramping down low on each side.
I wouldn’t say they are period like pains and they are not constant but can occasionally feel crampy.

They alternate sides and it does feel like it’s in my bones/groin but it is bothering me. Can be a little in my hips too but not much in my back.
this is my second baby and can’t for the life of me remember how contractions started but don’t feel like it was this. They aren’t getting worse.
I am seeing my midwife tomorrow so I will mention it but can anyone tell me was PGP or SPD feels like? I didn’t have it with my first.

TIA

Does anything make it worse or better?

For me, i hace severe PGP. When it first started i got back ache and a burning pain in my hips, this has now moved to not being able to walk very far, fast or at all, depending on what ive done in the day eg. Being at work sorting a delivery. Like yesterday i was only sat with my legs up on a reclined sofa and i couldnt walk for an hour, i had to try and stretch out my hips by sliding onto all fours on the floor and swaying just my hips side to side.

At night it was worse, as i cant lay on my hips for very long otherwise they start burning and hurting a hell of a lot to the point im hunched over in pain trying to move as they have seized up.

It could be that baby is laying funny.

PGP is very different for everyone, if you are unsure definitely speak to your midwife, they may send you to physio x
