👋 hey so I went for my 20 week scan yesterday the sonographar took some measurements said baby looking good but I need to go back as baby wouldn't show his face to check if he has cleflip, but the sonographar kept going back to measure his head and said she also needs better measurements of the head, I'm absolutely terrified that something is wrong this time, my anxiety is through the roof😪😪 my 4th baby and I've never had this happen, everytime we go to a scan baby never plays balls😒😒 anyone got any positive stories? 🙏💙❤️

It’s more common than you probably realise (I went down this rabbit hole too). I wouldn’t worry (I know it’s hard when anxiety takes over). I had this on our second pregnancy, they could check everything but the heart and throat because the baby was in an odd position. Have they booked your follow up scan? We had a follow up booked for 2 weeks later. We were in for less than 10mins as the sonographer saw what they needed to straight away the signed us off. They don’t need to check everything again, they’ll just want to check the lip then you’ll be good to go.

She said a follow up will be in 2 weeks and I'll get a letter through the post for it, yeah I'm just so worried as she said they need to check his head again too as he was in a weird position 😒

I had to go twice and still couldnt get a picture of the four chambers. Had to wait till my growth scan at 28 weeks. Its common. Its hard if baby isn't in a good position. Please dont worry.

I don’t think you’ve anything to worry about they said baby was in a bad position. They are honest if they genuinely think there’s a problem they tell you thats their job. I understand the worry but they’ve said why try not to overthink
