Symptoms after sweep- early labour?

Hello, I am 41 weeks FTM and had my second sweep today. I had my first sweep 4 days ago and lost my mucus plug/ had bloody show in the 24 hours after and had period like cramps for a few minutes in the evenings since but only once (nothing regular) then nothing much before todays sweep. After todays sweep, I’ve since had spotting (assuming just normal side effect from sweep) and have gone for a walk and had a pretty intense period like cramp for around 5 minutes before fading away. Has anyone had similar symptoms and did this progress into labour or is it just a standard side effect of having a sweep?

I’d really like to avoid going down the induction route so hoping the sweeps will have worked but it’s hard to tell what is early labour and what is just an effect of the sweeps!

My labour started after a sweep, very slowly

I had 4 sweeps with my first and had what you described afterwards but it always calmed down. Ended up being induced at 42 weeks but was already a few cm dilated.

I had a sweep and lost my plug after, it was huge and very bloody though. Cramps started but then went by the next morning. I started having proper contractions after about 24 hours but I was on my way for a section then as my waters had broken! Can you keep walking about?

I had a sweep at 6pm, lost my mucus plug at 10pm with period cramps in between, waters broke at 11pm was in labour and admitted by 3am but there was meconium in my water which is why I was admitted, I'm not sure if I would have been had there not been though
