Hey guys, I gave birth to DS2 on July 15, and I’m exclusively breastfeeding but my period came back 5-6 weeks after giving birth. I’ve just today finished my third period postpartum and it’s been really weird. The first period started 5 weeks I think after I gave birth. My second period started 28 days later like my periods usually do. I had what felt like ovulation pain on my left side on CD15, and my period started 4 or 5 days after that. It was like a normal period and it ended today, but I just went to the bathroom and I felt something come out. I looked in the toilet and it was quite a big clot. It scared me a bit because it looked so similar to the 5-6 week miscarriage that I had in 2021. Which is not possible right now. I mean.. it couldn’t be. I couldn’t have been pregnant right now, it was a normal period that I just had but the weirdest clot came out and it wasn’t red. It was browny-pink and flesh like. I probably sound so confusing right now. I guess what I’m trying to ask though is, is this normal for almost 3 months postpartum? I had a c-section and afterwards I didn’t bleed for long at all. My lochia was very very light and it lasted literally not even 10 days.
