Can a baby move too much??

I’m 32 weeks pregnant. My baby has not stopped moving around and kicking the living daylights out
of me for the last couple of months.

I do NOT remember this with my first two kids!!! It feels like it’s most of the day and most of the night.

Is that actually normal?! Have had several scans (unrelated to crazy movements) and it looks as though the baby is large and healthy but it just seems nuts how constant it is!!

Same here! I'm 38 weeks and baby girl doesn't seem to stop...she's woken me at 4.30am many times already doing somersaults. I'm hoping she's got more chill when she's emerged. Trying to remind myself that it's reassuring feeling her wriggling about.
Apparently some of them are just lively but you should watch out for any changes in their individual pattern of movements.

My baby was a constant mover! Seems like forever ago experiencing this. She is now months. But il never forget it, really made laugh at the time. At midwives she would kick the monitor. In the bath at night 2iudk dance around. And everytime Iay down for bed lots of turning and hiccups this was pretty much the last month of my pregnancy 🙃
Made me smile as the early days j asked me mum : "what will it feel like and will I definitely be able to tell?" Mum said "trust me you will see" and didnt i just! 😊 nice memories this post has reminded me of cx

My little one kicked like crazy, and was constantly moving. My husband could sometimes feel the sofa moving from the force of the little one shifting around. And I had more than one occasion of not being able to speak because the kicks were so hard. Baby continued to love kicking when he was tiny and has been quite early to roll / crawl / walk etc. Just a bundle of energy!

But if anything feels unusual, different or you're worried at all - please go and get checked out. Worst case scenario, its just a waste of time in a waiting room.

Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy
