31 weeks and bump is measuring small

I am just reaching out for reassurance and wondering if anyone is in the same boat/has had this with previous pregnancy’s

I’m 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby, but my bump is measuring at 27 weeks. I did have a growth scan the other week after measuring small in the 28 week midwife appointment. Luckily our baby was bang on the 50th percentile which is obviously a very good sign. But I’m still a bit concerned. What if I don’t have enough amniotic fluid or something?
The bump growth has slowed down a little, so midwife said that if my bump growth slows again in the next appointment, she’ll send me for another growth scan.
Has anyone else had this? Did you have to end up being induced?
I feel guilty really guilty it for some reason, like it’s something I’ve done/am doing. I’m not very big in general (5ft 2 and quite slight) and have struggled to eat enough this pregnancy due to awful indigestion and stomach pain (I’m now on omeprazole which is miles better).
Thank you so much in advance!

They'd have checked out whether there was enough amniotic fluid as part of the growth scan.

That’s very true, thank you. That makes me feel better! I’ll just relax and be led by the midwives!

I think bump size very much depends on the person. I had growth scans as bump was too small and baby came out 8lb 1. Definitely no concerns about they're size!

Hello I'm 5ft2 slim build an only put in 8kg with my daughter and 6kg with my son. My bump always measured on the 10th percentile with my daughter and the one fundal measurement I had with my son. I had growth scans with my son and they were 35-50th percentile. My daughter was 6lb13 at birth which was 60th percentile and my son was 6lb12 at 37 weeks which was also 60th percentile. His growth scans estimated him to be 6lb at this point.

My daughter is now 5 and she has been on a much smaller percentile for height than she has weight. At the most extreme she was nearly 50th percentile for weight and 1st percentile for height! It's possible this was also was the case which might be why her bump was smaller. My son's only a few weeks old so to early to tell

Hi @TheCornishGoodLife im in the same boat at 39 weeks with a small measuring bump but a baby measuring consistently at 50th centile for height and weight. Have had growth scans at 32, 34, 36 and 39 weeks and they are consistently happy with how baby is doing. Im also quite 'petite and bump is neat but baby seems all good. Try to take the reassurance from scans if you can xx

It can be that the baby is just well tucked in. Hopefully they’ll offer another growth scan in a couple of weeks. In my first pregnancy I measured small including on a late growth scan. I had to have an emcs as labour wasn’t progressing. Baby was 8 12. The reason for lack of progress was his head was too big to descend and he was never going to exit.
