Am I pregnant?

My period is now 4 days late and 2 days ago I took a pregnancy test but it showed as negative.

Basically I don’t use contraceptives and used condoms before but these past few months we have been using the withdrawl method. Do you think that this may have caused pregnancy and I need to wait to take a test again? I am also on wegovvy injections which I heard increase fertility too and have now stopped due to getting unwell these past two weeks. Could pregnancy be that cause?

It could just be a delay with your period, but until your period comes I wouldn't 100% rule out a pregnancy. I'd probably retest in a few days to double check.

If it does turn out to be negative, do make sure you're being safe: since you're on weightloss jabs, you might consider using a reliable contraception rather than relying on the withdrawal method. It's notoriously unreliable unfortunately, and the jabs aren't necessarily safe during pregnancy
