Asprin - Anyone taking it after mc's - advice please

I think I am about 5 weeks pregnant after 2 mc's. My Consultant has told me to contact him as soon as I become pregnant, so that he can give me a prescription for Asprin.

I am unsure about this. Does it have to be prescription Asprin or is it a traditional one. What might happen if you take it and are there any disadvantates.

Any help appreciated.

I'm no expert, but I believe the accepted wisdom is that it won't harm you, so should be OK to take. It's a 75mg aspirin, sometimes caled low dose or baby aspirin.
